Our restaurant amidst nature and authenticity

In the Agriturismo Su Solianu, you will be able to enjoy culinary delights while dining on the outdoor veranda, which allows you to appreciate the beautiful panorama over the vineyards and the surrounding countryside.

Our cuisine

The goodness of our food is wonderfully connected to nature / authenticity. We offer an array which ranges from the most famous roast suckling pig and sheep to culurgioni, seadas and pecorino and ancient recipes linked to the Ogliastra agro-pastoral tradition.
  
A culinary culture that is “poor, yet rich in values ” that are often forgotten. Recipes for first and second courses, desserts, preserves and jams – handed down from generation to generation. Potatoes and “casu e murgia”, “frisciurau”, “coccoi ‘and forru”, “tratalia”, “de casu and fitta and patata soup”, rabbit with olives, “orrubiolusu” etc …

Zero Kilometre products

Our dishes are almost entirely of our own production.Only 15% of our products may come from external companies and they are still ogliastrine.
  
With us you can find and taste many typical Sardinian products. To mention just a few: wonderful DOP extra virgin olive oil, IGP lamb, Cannonau and Vermentino wines and excellent grenache and myrtle distillates from our “Spiritus Alter” distillery.

Menu

We offer two menus:
Typical Sardinian menu, with dishes connected to the Ogliastrina tradition. The dishes are standard and are aimed primarily at outside guests or those staying at our establishment for only one night.
  
Our half board menu is aimed at those who dine at our restaurant every night, or at least often, during their stay. The menu is unique and varies every day; it is based on the seasonality and availability of products at the farm.
  
On reservation, we also offer menus for vegetarians, celiacs and those with various types of food intolerances.
On reservation, it is possible to buy packed lunches and our fruit and vegetables to eat at the beach or on excursions; to be booked in the evening during dinner, for the next morning.

Our wines

In our farmhouse, you can accompany traditional Sardinian dishes with “0 km” red and white table wines.
  
RED TABLE WINE
PRODUCER Azienda Agricola Gerperarci – AREA Ogliastra
Wine from weathered granite/limestone soil, with 90% Cannonau and 10% Muristellu grapes.
We harvest our grapes in the last ten days of September and vinify them with long maceration on the skins and controlled fermentation, refined briefly in oak.
The result is a ruby red wine with typical purple reflections and fruity scents, with notes of red fruits and sour cherries. The taste is distinctive, made pleasant by a marked softness.
It goes perfectly with aged and semi-aged cheeses and roasted and braised meats.
  
WHITE TABLE WINE
PRODUCER Azienda Agricola Gerperarci – AREA Ogliastra
Wine from weathered granite/limestone soil, with 100% Vermentino grapes.
We harvest our grapes in the last ten days of September and vinify them with long maceration on the skins and controlled fermentation, in stainless steel.
The result is an intense straw yellow wine with golden reflections and floral scents with hints of citrus. The taste is distinctive, with notes of bitter almond and yellow apple.
It lends itself well to drinking chilled, as an aperitif. It goes perfectly with fish dishes, fresh or semi-seasoned cheeses, and dry sweets.
